Job summary

North Shore Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Director for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Wisconsin. The role oversees overall maintenance and the maintenance budget, performing preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe, attractive environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and competence in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of prior maintenance experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Competence in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plastering and painting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall maintenance of the center and maintenance budget.
• Conducts routine tests and inspections on center systems (generator, sprinklers, door alarms, call lights, hood/duct, hot water).
• Responsible for fire drills and disaster preparedness plans.
• Lead preventative maintenance and repairs inside and outside the center to ensure a safe, attractive environment for residents and staff.
