Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance department of a skilled nursing facility. You will manage daily operations, develop preventative maintenance programs, and ensure the safety and comfort of residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has LTC/SNF experience and strong knowledge of Life Safety regulations, with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style and a focus on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily operations of the Maintenance Department.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure facility, equipment, systems, and grounds are well-maintained.
• Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain maintenance policies, procedures, records, and required documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with Nursing, Dietary, Environmental Services, and other departments.
• Coordinate and oversee outside vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Assist with plans of correction for any maintenance or Life Safety deficiencies.
• Monitor equipment, supplies, repairs, and maintenance-related expenses.
• Ensure work orders and maintenance requests are completed timely and appropriately.
• Work closely with the Administrator and facility leadership to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

• Assist with plans of correction for any maintenance or Life Safety deficiencies.
• Monitor equipment, supplies, repairs, and maintenance-related expenses.
• Ensure work orders and maintenance requests are completed timely and appropriately.
• Work closely with the Administrator and facility leadership to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
