Little Chute Health Services in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Director for the first shift to oversee maintenance and budgets, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for residents and staff. The role requires hands-on expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems, plus leadership in emergency plans.

The position calls for at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong organizational and computer skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of prior maintenance experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Satisfactory driving record with no more than three moving violations in 3 years.
• No record of Reckless Driving or DUI/DWI in past 7 years.
• Competence in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plastering and painting.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft products.
• Able to work on-call.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of the center and maintenance budget.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs inside and outside the center.
• Provide a safe, attractive, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Test systems such as emergency generator, sprinkler, door alarms, call light, hood/duct and hot water systems.
• Lead fire drills and update disaster preparedness plans.

Summary of position

Responsible for overall maintenance of the center and maintenance budget.Duties include preventative maintenance and repairs inside and outside the center providing a safe, attractive and orderly environment for the benefit, use, enjoyment and protection of residents, employees and center visitors.Conducts routine tests, inspections on center system such as emergency generator, sprinkler systems, door alarms, call light system, hood/duct system and hot water systems.Responsible for fire drills, and initiating/updating the fire and

disaster preparedness plans.
