All American Assisted Living in New Jersey seeks a hands-on Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance, safety and the physical condition of our assisted living and memory care community. The role ensures repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and life-safety compliance are performed to create a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to manage preventive maintenance programs and vendors.
• Comfort working with residents, families, staff and leadership.
• Knowledge of life-safety systems and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and repairs of the community.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems.
• Inspect apartments and common areas for safety and upkeep.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and capital projects.
• Supervise maintenance staff and manage budget and inventory.
