Job summary

CWS Apartments in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead a maintenance team across a residential community. You will oversee preventive maintenance, make-readies, and service requests while ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma, EPA HVAC I & II, CPO, and a valid driver’s license, with 2–4 years experience in apartment maintenance or related trades. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Yardi experience preferred; Microsoft Office and Outlook required.
• EPA HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications required.
• 2–4 years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and own basic hand tools required.
• Ability to read service requests and communicate in English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team members.
• Embrace, engage, motivate and train team members.
• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests and maintain inventory.
• Perform common area maintenance and lead preventive maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs and safety initiatives.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, and leadership.
