Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes in Arlington, TX is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team and ensure the property remains in excellent condition while promoting resident satisfaction. You will manage service requests, prepare make-readies, and lead safety and risk management initiatives across the community.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of apartment maintenance or related trade experience, HVAC/EPA certifications, and strong supervisory skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications are required.
• Yardi software experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and schedules in English.
• Able to establish and maintain professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team members and coordinate daily activities.
• Prepare make-ready apartments and complete service requests.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance and preventative maintenance program.
• Communicate with residents, customers, investors, vendors, and leadership.
• Participate in risk management and safety programs.
