Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in physical plant operations and equipment maintenance.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collect maintenance requisitions from all facility units.
• Prioritize and assign staff to repair or replace faulty equipment.
• Schedule regular maintenance across the physical plant and equipment.
• Test and maintain the emergency power system and life safety equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks of essential equipment to keep it safe.
• Ensure potable water availability in critical areas during outages.
• Monitor temperatures and address hazards affecting residents and staff.
• Communicate with residents, families, and representatives to address needs.
• Supervise maintenance staff and conduct performance observations.
• Perform quality assurance and compliance checks with regulations.
• Develop and update maintenance policies in line with regulations.
• Document maintenance activities and audit staff records for accuracy.
