Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the physical plant operations of a healthcare facility. You will ensure safety, compliance with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and CMS requirements, and oversee day-to-day repairs and grounds upkeep.

You will manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and supervise staff, contractors, and budget while maintaining preparedness for health department surveys and after-hours emergencies.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or institutional setting.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and CMS physical plant requirements.
• Experience with fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and emergency generator testing.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure all required testing and documentation is current.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, CMS Conditions of Participation, and OSHA standards.
• Maintain and test the emergency generator per CMS requirements.
• Conduct and document fire drills, fire alarm testing, and Life Safety inspections.
• Manage and supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors and vendors.
• Obtain bids, manage contracts, and control the maintenance department budget.
• Maintain grounds including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep.
• Prepare for and participate in state health department surveys related to the physical plant.
• Respond to facility maintenance emergencies promptly including after-hours as needed.
• Serve on the Safety Committee and support the facility's emergency preparedness plan.
