Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Maintenance Director for the HCC facility to oversee the physical plant and essential equipment, ensuring life safety standards and regulatory compliance. You will manage staff, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate with clinical leadership to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

The role requires directing maintenance operations, enforcing safety protocols, and driving continuous improvement in facilities management across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in physical plant operations and equipment maintenance.
• Basic working knowledge of a computer (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance requests from all facility units and departments.
• Prioritize, assign staffing, and supervise repairs or replacements.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance of the plant and equipment.
• Maintain emergency power systems and life safety equipment readiness.
• Ensure potable water availability and monitor temperatures for resident areas.
• Assist in department budget development and vendor coordination.
