Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the facility's physical plant and critical systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role manages maintenance staff and coordinates daily duties to keep boiler rooms, medical refrigerators, and laundry equipment in safe working order.

The director develops policies, conducts QA on compliance with state and federal laws, and collaborates with consultants to improve maintenance services while staying within budget

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in physical plant operations and equipment maintenance.
• Must have basic working knowledge of a computer (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite).

Responsibilities

• Collects, reviews maintenance requisitions from all units and departments.
• Establishes and conducts scheduled maintenance for the physical plant and equipment.
• Maintains and tests the emergency power system to ensure power availability for life safety systems.
• Performs daily duties of maintenance staff and ensures essential equipment is in safe condition.
• Develops procedures to ensure potable water availability during supply loss.
• Participates in long term care survey processes and guides staff during surveys.
