Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma.
• Experience: Practical knowledge of day-to-day maintenance and facility upkeep; HVAC, electrical, and plumbing preferred.
• Supervisory experience: 1 year of supervision and management responsibilities.
• Skills & values: organized, strong leadership, and caring for elderly and disabled residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repairs: perform repairs on equipment and keep building compliant with codes.
• Safety & regulatory compliance: follow OSHA rules and test emergency generator per regulations.
• Leadership & team management: oversee daily operations, hire and train staff, coach, and evaluate performance.
• Budget & administration: manage supplies within budget and supervise department operations.
• Collaboration & education: work with other departments and participate in meetings and in-service programs.
