Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Laurel, Maryland is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep of the community, supervise staff and contractors, and ensure safe operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems.

You will manage preventative maintenance, logs, budgets, and on-call emergencies, while maintaining cleanliness and grounds, and complying with building codes. Strong communication and ability to work with residents and staff are required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and A/C-HVAC equipment.
• Two years of maintenance experience in a large physical plant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
• Inspect gauges, thermometers, and logs daily.
• Oversee drains, grease traps, grounds and outdoor areas.
