Job summary

Westbury Center for Nursing and Healing in Winder, GA is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the daily and preventive maintenance program, working hands-on within the facility. You will supervise maintenance staff, perform inspections, and manage budgets while ensuring timely, quality service across interior and exterior areas.

The role requires flexibility for on-call rotations and the ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks, from HVAC and water heaters to carpentry and painting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience
• SNF experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the maintenance staff and ensure they provide efficient, timely, and competent maintenance service.
• Complete daily facility inspections.
• Recommend repair or replacement of interior and/or exterior elements.
• Understand and adhere to maintenance budgets.
• Monitor maintenance of all mechanical equipment (water heaters, HVAC, kitchen equipment, etc.).
• Perform and/or supervise various maintenance tasks (installations, carpentry, furnace/AC repairs, plumbing, painting, etc.).
• Control maintenance storage and mechanical rooms.

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Director manages the Facility's Daily and Preventive Maintenance Program by working hands-on within the Facility, including inspections, repairs, and general maintenance of interior/exterior areas. The Maintenance Director Supervises and supports the maintenance staff and ensures they provide efficient, timely, and competent maintenance service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Director:

• Supervise and support the maintenance staff and ensure they provide efficient, timely, and competent maintenance service.
• Complete daily facility inspections.
• Recommend the repair or replacement of any interior and/or exterior
• Understand and adhere to Maintenance budgets.
• Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of all mechanical equipment in the facility, including but not limited to water heaters, HVAC units, kitchen equipment, etc.
• Perform and/or supervise various maintenance functions such as installations, carpentry, furnace and air conditioner repairs, filter changing, coil cleaning, plumbing and appliance repairs, drywall and painting repairs, vinyl installation and repairs, minor roof repairs, etc.
• Control Maintenance storage and mechanical rooms.

Requirements of the Maintenance Director:

• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on an on-call rotation
• Team Player
• 1-2 years of experience
• SNF experience is preferred, not required
