Job summary

Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Director to manage the facility's daily and preventive maintenance, working hands-on to inspect, repair, and maintain interior and exterior areas. The role also involves supervising staff to ensure timely and competent service.

You will supervise maintenance personnel, monitor budgets, and oversee HVAC, water heaters, kitchen equipment, and other systems.

Qualifications

• Supervise and support the maintenance staff and ensure they provide efficient, timely and competent maintenance service.
• Complete daily facility inspections and monitor budgets.
• Understand and adhere to Maintenance budgets; work on interior/exterior repairs.
• SNF experience is preferred, not required.

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Director Manages the Facility's Daily and Preventative Maintenance Program by working hands-on within the Facility, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of interior/exterior areas. The Maintenance Director Supervises and supports the maintenance staff and ensure they provide efficient, timely and competent maintenance service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Director:

• Supervise and support the maintenance staff and ensure they provide efficient, timely and competent maintenance service.

• Complete daily facility inspections.

• Recommend the repair or replacement of any interior and/or exterior

• Understand and adhere to Maintenance budgets.

• Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of all mechanical equipment in the facility, including but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, kitchen equipment etc.

• Perform and/or supervise various maintenance functions such as installations, carpentry, furnace and air conditioner repairs, filter changing, coil cleaning, plumbing and appliance repairs, drywall and painting repairs, vinyl installation and repairs, minor roof repairs, etc.

• Control Maintenance storage and mechanical rooms.

Requirements of the Maintenance Director:

• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on an on call rotation

• Team Player

• 1-2 years of experience

• SNF experience is preferred not required
