Job summary

Sapphire Rehabilitation & Care Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead and oversee all facility maintenance operations. The role includes developing proactive maintenance programs, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

Ideal candidates will have maintenance experience, knowledge of OSHA standards, strong communication skills, and availability afternoons and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Helps with the development and implementation of proactive maintenance strategies and maintenance programs.

• Maintain swimming pool daily and ensure water safety and chemical balance.
• Maintain records/logs for compliance and reference.
• Assist with other maintenance duties as needed.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Adhere to infection control policies.

Our facility is seeking a Maintenance Directorfor our Sapphire Care and Rehabilitation, located in Columbus, OH.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prefer at least 3 years of maintenance experience

• Familiar with OSHA guidelines.

• Excellent communication skills

• Team player

• Available afternoons and weekends

Specific Tasks May Includes

• Helps with the development and implementation of proactive maintenance strategies and maintenance programs.

• Provides leadership and guidance to all maintenance personnel

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the day

• Operate power equipment

• Maintain parking lots to be free of leaves, tree limbs, trash and maintain an overall attractive and safe environment

• Maintain common area sidewalks to be free of leaves, tree limbs, bird droppings and maintain an overall attractive and safe environment

• Maintains swimming pool daily for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary and safe condition

• Maintain pools proper chemical and PH rate for the purpose of complying with mandated safety and health requirements for pool water purity and balance.

• Maintains records (e.g. logs, etc.) for the purpose of providing an up-to-date reference trail and/or ensuring compliance with mandated requirements

• Assist as needed with other maintenance job duties

• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance

• Abide by policies, practices, and procedures, Practices and adheres to Infection control polices

Skills Required:

• Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry materials

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues
