Job summary

Complete Care in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the upkeep, safety, and daily operations of a skilled nursing facility. You will supervise maintenance staff, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory readiness to provide a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and healthcare regulations, and the ability to prioritize urgent repairs while coordinating with facility

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Director or supervisor in healthcare setting.
• SNF or long-term care experience strongly preferred.

Complete Care is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall upkeep of a skilled nursing facility in New Jersey. We are looking for a hands‑on leader who takes pride in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including Life Safety Code requirements.

• Manage facility inspections, equipment maintenance, and emergency preparedness procedures.

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and outside contractors.

• Maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
