Job summary

Complete Care in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the upkeep, safety, and daily operations of a skilled nursing facility. You will supervise maintenance staff, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory readiness to provide a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and healthcare regulations, and the ability to prioritize urgent repairs while coordinating with facility

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Director or supervisor in healthcare setting.
• SNF or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and healthcare regulations.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize projects and respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations and preventative programs.
• Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, and healthcare rules.
• Manage inspections, equipment upkeep, and emergency procedures.
• Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.
