Southern Meadows, a Sonida Senior Living community in Mountain Home, AR, seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee grounds, facilities, and safety. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operations and safe living spaces for residents.

You will manage repairs, coordinate with staff, and uphold fire safety and compliance, with opportunities for professional growth and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred; familiarity with minor repairs for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and HVAC systems.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds including exterior repairs, lawn care, and garbage removal.
• Maintain building interiors, offices, and common areas.
• Oversee repair of community equipment; ensure functionality and staff training.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and refurbish units after move-out.
• Maintain fire safety, emergency records, and required state inspections.

Maintenance Director Responsibilities Include

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.
