Job summary

Middleton Crossing, a Sonida Senior Living community in Madison, WI, is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee grounds, indoor areas, and equipment maintenance. You’ll ensure safety, coordinate repairs, and prep apartments for move-in, while leading staff training and compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.

Maintenance Director Responsibilities include:

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.

• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.
