Job summary

Inspiring Success, Creating Community is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the physical infrastructure, lead maintenance and housekeeping staff, and coordinate with the Executive Director on budgets. This full-time role requires weekend work and on-call availability.

You will perform routine maintenance, manage bids, establish a work order system, and serve as the point of contact for vendors while ensuring a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents.

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance and housekeeping management experience.
  • Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public.
  • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without assistance; may lift/move equipment.

  • Maintain grounds and community in good repair ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment.
  • Establish and maintain a work order system.

  • Give input into operational and capital budgets.
  • Manage/direct/lead maintenance and housekeeping associates.

This position requires a blend of technical skills, leadership, and strategic planning. The role is perfect for someone thorough with strong attention to detail and a team player attitude.
