Job summary

Southern Meadows, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a PRN/Part-time Maintenance Assistant in Mountain Home, AR. You will perform daily maintenance tasks, address resident requests, and help keep common areas safe and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work; general repair and preventative maintenance.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis responding to resident requests through the work order system, repairing plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Performs daily light bulb walk around/inspection to ensure public area lighting is operable.
• Performs general maintenance for the building including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment issues.
• Maintains organization of storage and equipment areas.
• Performs daily painting and related projects for common and office areas.

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities Include

• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis responding to resident request through the established work order program repairing plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Performs daily light bulb walk around/inspection ensuring that all public area light bulbs are operable and working.
• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis for the building to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment issues.
• Maintains organization of all storage and equipment areas.
• Performs daily and as assigned painting projects for all common and office area
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful
