Position Details

• Community: Elison Assisted Living and Memory Care of Marietta
• Location: Marietta, OH 45750
• Website: www.elisonmarietta.com
• Status: Full-Time
• Shift: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with rotating weekends as Manager on Duty

Responsibilities

• Maintain all community areas including grounds, fences, parking, community houses, pools, spas, furniture, appliances, HVAC, and lift stations
• Maintain service and power equipment, tools, and kitchen equipment
• Coordinate preventative maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Keep records of maintenance and repairs using work order systems
• Communicate repair statuses effectively
• Provide 24/7 on-call maintenance services
• Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including fire safety and hazard identification
• Manage maintenance supply inventory
• Address building maintenance and appearance concerns from residents and staff
• Collaborate with management on community marketing and operations
• Supervise Maintenance and Housekeeping teams

Skills and Requirements

• At least 1 year of residential maintenance experience
• Maintain required licensure and certifications
• Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, attention to detail
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License if necessary
• Effective communication skills in English
• Knowledge of building operations, safety regulations, plumbing, electrical, HVAC
• Physical ability to perform exertion tasks, including lifting 50-100 lbs, standing, climbing, etc.
• Availability for after-hours work
• Valid driver's license or willingness to obtain one
