Gardant-Management-Solution is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our senior living communities in Crystal Lake, IL. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure safety, and manage HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to support resident well-being.

You will implement preventative maintenance, respond to repair requests promptly, train staff, and uphold OSHA and internal safety standards while fostering a caring, respectful environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required.
• Prior senior living experience desired.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire.

Responsabilités

• Oversees safety program and maintains a secure environment in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Maintains preventative maintenance program for community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team in providing exceptional services.
• Repairs, replaces, and/or installs minor equipment, hardware, and controls.
• Maintains water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, kitchen equipment and associated equipment.
• Completes maintenance requests promptly, including emergencies.
• Implements safety protocols to avert incidents and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Performs exterior maintenance duties as necessary.
• Delivers fire and disaster education and conducts drills with residents and team members.
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and supportive manner reflecting the values of love, compassion, and dignity.
