CareCore at Willowood is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall physical condition of our skilled nursing facility. We are looking for a hands‑on leader who takes pride in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well‑functioning environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Oversee the day‑to‑day maintenance and upkeep of the facility
Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs
Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems
Conduct routine inspections of the building, equipment, and grounds
Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, and applicable state and federal regulations
Maintain required maintenance, inspection, and Life Safety documentation
Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors as needed
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility emergencies
Prepare the facility for state surveys and other regulatory inspections
Manage maintenance supplies, equipment, and inventory
Work closely with the Administrator and facility leadership team
Participate in the facility's on‑call rotation as needed
Previous maintenance experience in a skilled nursing, long‑term care, or healthcare setting required
Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of Life Safety Code and healthcare regulatory requirements
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general repairs, and preventative maintenance
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond to urgent facility needs
Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a resident‑centered healthcare environment
