Job summary

CareCore at Willowood is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance, safety, and the facility’s physical condition in a skilled nursing setting.

You will lead day‑to‑day operations, coordinate preventative maintenance, ensure Life Safety Code compliance, and supervise maintenance staff and vendors while collaborating with the Administrator and leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing/healthcare maintenance required.
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of the building, equipment, and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain required maintenance, inspection, and Life Safety documentation.
• Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility emergencies.
• Prepare the facility for state surveys and other regulatory inspections.
• Manage maintenance supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Work closely with the Administrator and facility leadership team.
• Participate in the facility's on‑call rotation as needed.

We are looking for a hands‑on leader who takes pride in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general repairs, and preventative maintenance

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond to urgent facility needs

• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a resident‑centered healthcare environment
