Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Director responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting, and managing the Maintenance, Laundry, and Housekeeping departments to ensure cleanliness, order, and efficient laundry services for residents and the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Business and personnel management training preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC; licensure/certification a plus
• Knowledge of OSHA and IDPH regulations

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and verify references for staff
• Supervise staffing schedules for continuous service
• Manage supplies and equipment for housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance
• Oversee safety drills and inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
• Work as weekend supervisor on a rotating basis
• Be on call 24/7 for emergencies and repairs
• Maintain safety and operational standards for all facility equipment
