Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Cell Lead to oversee maintenance activities and drive equipment reliability within an assigned production cell. This role serves as the primary technical resource for the cell, coordinating maintenance priorities, supporting breakdown elimination efforts, and partnering with Operations and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience leading maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Experience coordinating maintenance activities and prioritizing work in a production environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for an assigned production cell.
Support Operations Plus implementation and reliability improvement initiatives.
Manage and continuously improve preventive maintenance systems for assigned production lines.
Provide technical expertise to support equipment reliability and loss elimination efforts.
Coach operators and maintenance team members on equipment performance and best practices.
Coordinate daily maintenance work and ensure timely completion of priorities.
Partner with Engineering, Process, and Operations teams to improve equipment performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues.
Serve as escalation point for complex equipment failures.
Support root cause analysis investigations and corrective actions.
Lead breakdown elimination investigations and develop long-term reliability solutions.
Track, prioritize, and maintain work orders within the CMMS system.
Enforce safety standards, LOTO procedures, and housekeeping expectations.
