Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Wyoming, MI is seeking an Industrial Maintenance professional for 3rd shift. You will perform hands-on repairs on hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, conveyors, cranes and more to keep production running smoothly.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years' machine repair experience or an equivalent mix of education and training, and you must hold powered industrial vehicle certification.

Qualifications

• Three years of machine repair experience or an equivalent education/training.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required.
• Able to work in varied environments and heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance on hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC and conveyors.
• Repair cranes, hi-speed doors and building maintenance systems as needed.
• Follow safety standards and keep the shop organized with basic tools.

Industrial Maintenance

Location: 4900 Clay Ave Wyoming, MI

As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you'll have the opportunity to be hands-on with building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, conveyor systems, building maintenance, cranes, hi-speed doors, and more. We have high standards for safety, stability, and training to ensure our people are safe and that our business is always running at top performance. Schedule: 3rd Shift 9:30PM-5:30AM

Pay: $24.66 per hour for Level 1

• Earn an additional $2.85 per hour performance incentive - no flat rates!
• Annual $1,000 tool allowance and $150 boot allowance

Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required
• Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training. Previous experience in forklift repair
• You’ll be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
• Successful passing of drug screen and background check
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
