Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Springfield, Ohio is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our operations running smoothly across our distribution facility.

This full-time role works Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 6 pm, at $28.95 per hour, with a $500 tool allowance and $150 shoe allowance; benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum one year maintaining and repairing PIV or warehousing equipment and facilities.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair PIV and warehousing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Read building schematics and blueprints.
• Operate and maintain conveyors and cranes.
• Ensure safety standards and equipment reliability.

Maintenance Technician

Location: 4980 Gateway Blvd. | Springfield, Ohio

As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you'll have the opportunity to be hands-on with building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, conveyor systems, building maintenance, cranes, hi-speed doors, and more. Schedule:

Pay: $28.95 per hour- Based on experience

• Annual $500 tool allowance and $150 yearly shoe allowance

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday work week with Fridays and Saturdays off

Full-time shift starts at 9:30 am to 6 pm

Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required
• Minimum one year maintaining and repairing PIV or warehouserelated equipment and facilities
• You'll be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
• Successful passing of drug screen and background check
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
