Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Industrial Maintenance technician in Springfield, OH, to keep our facilities running smoothly. You will service hydraulics, conveyors, electrical systems, HVAC, cranes, and more, ensuring safety and reliability across shifts.

You must have a High school diploma or GED, a valid Powered Industrial Vehicle certification, and at least 3 years of machine repair experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of machine repair experience or equivalent education.
• Experience in forklift repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial equipment including hydraulics and conveyors.

Industrial Maintenance

Location

4980 Gateway Blvd. Springfield, OH

As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you’ll have the opportunity to be hands‑on with building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, conveyor systems, building maintenance, cranes, hi‑speed doors, and more. We have high standards for safety, stability, and training to ensure our people are safe and that our business is always running at top performance. Schedule

Sunday-Thursday, 930 pm to 6 am.

Pay

Starting $25.11 per hour based on experience

• Earn an additional $2.85 per hour performance incentive - no flat rates!
• Annual $500 tool allowance and $150 boot allowance

Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required
• Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training. Previous experience in forklift repair
• You'll be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
• Successful passing of drug screen and background check
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
