Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Wyoming, MI is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift (9:30 PM–5:30 AM). You will perform hands-on repair and maintenance of conveyors, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, and related equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 3+ years of machine repair experience (or equivalent education), forklift repair exposure, and the ability to work in high places and cold spaces. 18+ and a valid PIT certification are required.

• Previous experience in forklift repair is preferred.

Schedule

3rd Shift 9:30PM-5:30AM

Pay

$24.66 per hour for Level 1

• Earn an additional $2.85 per hour performance incentive - no flat rates!
• Annual $1,000 tool allowance and $150 boot allowance

Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required
• Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training. Previous experience in forklift repair
• You will be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
• Successful passing of drug screen and background check
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
