Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Wyoming, MI is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance technician to repair and maintain a range of equipment, from hydraulics to HVAC systems and conveyors. The role emphasizes safety, blueprint-driven work, and hands-on problem solving.

Shift is 3rd with pay of $24.66/hour for Level 1, plus $2.85/hour performance incentive, tool/boot allowances, and weekly pay. Requires forklift cert, 3 years' machine repair experience, and ability to lift 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required.
• Three years of machine repair experience or equivalent education/background.
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs.
• Successful passing of drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment including hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, conveyors, cranes and doors.
• Work from building schematics/blueprints; follow safety standards and procedures.
• Perform high work in cold spaces, on elevated areas, and within the facility.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment as needed to keep operations running.

Schedule

3rd Shift 9:30PM-5:30AM

Pay

$24.66 per hour for Level 1

• Earn an additional $2.85 per hour performance incentive - no flat rates!

Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older

• You’ll be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
