Job summary

Sandia Ridge Center is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support facility improvements across our New Mexico centers. You will help maintain buildings, perform minor repairs, and assist with electrical, HVAC, and safety systems to ensure comfort and safety for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma and basic trade skills, plus reliable transportation to travel between sites. A cooperative team environment and opportunities for growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
• Willingness to travel between sites with travel reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Perform minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, and geriatric chairs.
• Assist with electrical equipment, sprinklers, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers; change HVAC filters.
• Carry, lift, and stock supplies as needed.
• Remain on-call 24 hours a day and assume supervisor responsibilities in their absence.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate customer service to patients and families.

In this role you will support special projects focused on facility improvements, renovations, repairs, and enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of our nursing centers throughout the New Mexico market. Position Highlights

• Facility & Grounds Care: Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Take proper care of all company tools and equipment.
• Minor Repairs & Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, and geriatric chairs.
• Systems Support: Assist with basic functions regarding electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers. Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Logistics: Carry, lift, and stock supplies as needed.
• Leadership & Coverage: Remain on-call 24 hours a day when assigned and assume supervisor s responsibilities in their absence.
• Customer Service First: Ensure that our customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that respects individual needs and rights.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver s license to travel between work sites as needed (travel reimbursement provided)

Posted Salary Range: USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
