Job summary

Genesis in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support facility improvements across our New Mexico centers. You will perform minor repairs, upkeep, and regular maintenance to ensure safe, comfortable environments for residents and staff.

The role involves hands-on work, basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, and occasional travel between sites. Strong attention to detail and a reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of wiring.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Perform minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, and geriatric chairs.
• Assist with basic electrical equipment, sprinklers, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers; change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift, and stock supplies; be on-call to cover supervisor duties when needed.

We are now hiring Maintenance Associate's to focus on projects and facility improvements throughout our New Mexico centers!

Responsibilities

Are you a handy, detail-oriented individual who loves to keep things running smoothly? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate to join our team.

In this role you will support special projects focused on facility improvements, renovations, repairs, and enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of our nursing centers throughout the New Mexico market. Position Highlights

• Facility & Grounds Care: Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Take proper care of all company tools and equipment.
• Minor Repairs & Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, and geriatric chairs.
• Systems Support: Assist with basic functions regarding electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers. Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Logistics: Carry, lift, and stock supplies as needed.
• Leadership & Coverage: Remain on-call 24 hours a day when assigned and assume supervisor s responsibilities in their absence.
• Customer Service First: Ensure that our customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that respects individual needs and rights.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver s license to travel between work sites as needed (travel reimbursement provided).
