Job summary

Nationwide Healthcare Services is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to cover the 8:00 am – 4:30 pm shift in Wilmington, DE. Responsibilities include completing daily work orders and assisting the Maintenance Director in maintaining grounds, facility, and equipment in compliance with state and CMS guidelines.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a long-term care setting, a high school or trade diploma in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing, and is a self-starter

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school diploma in HVAC, electrical or plumbing.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a long term care environment.
• Previous Maintenance Experience Preferred.
• Must be self-starter, maintain a safe workplace environment, be organized, exhibit flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with vendors, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the completion of daily work orders as assigned by Maintenance Director.
• Maintain grounds, facility and equipment safely per Delaware state guidelines and CMS/City of Wilmington requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift - 8 am - 4:30 pm

We are currently seeking applicants for our a full time Maintenance Assistant position.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant:

• Ensure the completion of daily work orders as assigned by Maintenance Director.

• Assist the Maintenance Director in maintaining the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current Delaware state fire marshal office, CMS, City of Wilmington and all federal, state and local guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or trade school diploma in HVAC, electrical or plumbing

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a long term care environment.

Full time Maintenance Assistant position with weekend on call rotation.
