Job summary

Alpine Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a maintenance professional to operate and maintain facility machinery, perform basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and assist with preventive maintenance. The role involves moving large equipment, ensuring the facility is clean and orderly, and running errands as needed.

We welcome dedicated individuals who uphold the facility's values and safety standards. The position is full-time and on-site at our New York location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• Must operate machinery and equipment and keep them in good repair.
• Able to handle simple electrical and plumbing tasks and perform minor repairs.
• Able to move and lift equipment and run errands, including driving a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Handle simple electrical and plumbing tasks and perform minor repairs.
• Move, lift, and transport large equipment within the facility.
• Keep facility grounds neat and organized.
• Run errands for supplies and drive as needed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance duties as instructed.
• Complete routine tasks without direct supervision.

• Must operate machinery and equipment, maintain in good repair, and store in an orderly fashion.

• Be able to handle and use simple electrical and plumbing equipment and make minor repairs.

• Be able to carry, push, and pull large equipment in and out of facility.

• Ensure that facility grounds are neat and in order.

• Run errands as needed for supplies—requires driving a motor vehicle.

• Assist with Preventative Maintenance duties as instructed.

• Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of direct supervision.

• Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of the facility through professional excellence.

• Adheres to the facility dress code.
