Job summary

Ghent-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Center is seeking a Maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep and repairs at one location. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and previous maintenance experience is preferred.

A valid driver's license is required to run errands and operate a vehicle as needed. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, handling basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and ensuring the facility grounds remain neat.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment, keep in good repair and store orderly.
• Handle and use simple electrical and plumbing equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Move large equipment in and out of the facility as needed.
• Keep facility grounds neat and orderly.
• Run errands for supplies and drive a vehicle when required.
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance tasks as instructed.
• Complete routine tasks without direct supervision.
• Demonstrate the facility's mission, vision, and values through professional excellence.

Essential Functions

• Must operate machinery and equipment, maintain in good repair, and store in an orderly fashion.

• Be able to handle and use simple electrical and plumbing equipment and make minor repairs.

• Be able to carry, push, and pull large equipment in and out of facility.

• Ensure that facility grounds are neat and in order.

• Run errands as needed for supplies - requires driving a motor vehicle.

• Assist with Preventative Maintenance duties as instructed.

• Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of direct supervision.

• Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of the facility through professional excellence.

• Adheres to the facility dress code.
