Job summary

Yorktown-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Cente is seeking a maintenance personnel to operate and maintain equipment, perform basic repairs, and assist with preventative maintenance. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with driving duties as part of the role.

Hours are 12p-8p with every other weekend, and the facility offers premium compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment, keep in good repair and orderly.
• Handle simple electrical and plumbing tasks and perform minor repairs.
• Move large equipment, drive as needed for supplies and errands.
• Assist with preventative maintenance duties as instructed.
• Complete routine tasks accurately without direct supervision.

Essential Functions

1. Must operate machinery and equipment, maintain in good repair, and store in an orderly fashion.
2. Be able to handle and use simple electrical and plumbing equipment and make minor repairs.
3. Be able to carry, push, and pull large equipment in and out of facility.
4. Run errands as needed for supplies—requires driving a motor vehicle.
5. Assist with Preventative Maintenance duties as instructed.
6. Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of direct supervision.
