Job summary

Fundamental is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help oversee safety, appearance, and upkeep of the Crownsville, MD facility. This role supports daily operations and ensures compliance with applicable standards.

You will perform painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance and preventive maintenance under the direction of the Maintenance Director. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; HVAC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; HVAC cert a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Maintenance experience preferred, especially in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director with facility safety, appearance and maintenance per regulations.
• Participate in painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance and preventive upkeep.

Posted Salary Range

USD $20.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director with the overall safety, appearance, and maintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements at all times
• Take part in part in painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, and preventative maintenance

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D required
• Knowledgeable on various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems required, HVAC certification a plus
• Knowledge of safety regulations required
• Reliable source of transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Maintenance experience preferred; especially in a healthcare facility
