Job summary

Cordova Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in Cordova, TN is seeking a compassionate Maintenance Assistant to support our care team. The role focuses on keeping the facility compliant with Life Safety Code, reviewing policies, and performing maintenance tasks to ensure a safe environment for residents.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior maintenance experience, with preferred background in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance or plant position.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the community remains compliant with Life Safety Code and regulations.
• Review policies, procedures, and job descriptions for accuracy.
• Maintain the facility by performing applicable maintenance tasks.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Maintenance Director, Administrator or Regional Maintenance Director.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).

Maintenance Assistant Position Summary

As the Maintenance Assistant at Cordova Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the community remains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for Life Safety Code compliance.
• Review the department’s policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc.
• Maintain the facility by working on all applicable tasks.
• Perform any related tasks assigned by the Maintenance Director, the Administrator or Regional Maintenance Director.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Maintenance Assistant Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a maintenance or plant related position
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Assistant in long-term care is preferred
