Cordova Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Maintenance Assistant to join a care-driven team in Cordova, Tennessee. This full-time role focuses on keeping the community compliant with Life Safety Code standards and maintaining facility operations, with duties assigned by leadership and a focus on resident privacy.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior maintenance/plant experience; long-term care experience is preferred.

• Experience in a maintenance or plant-related position.
• Experience as Maintenance Assistant in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Life Safety Code compliance per regulations.
• Review department policies, procedure manuals and job descriptions.
• Maintain the facility by completing relevant tasks.
• Perform tasks as directed by the Maintenance Director/Administrator/Regional Maintenance Director.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.

Maintenance Assistant Position Summary

As the Maintenance Assistant at Cordova Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the community remains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for Life Safety Code compliance.
• Review the department’s policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc.
• Maintain the facility by working on all applicable tasks.
• Perform any related tasks assigned by the Maintenance Director, the Administrator or Regional Maintenance Director.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Maintenance Assistant Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a maintenance or plant related position
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Assistant in long-term care is preferred
