Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care seeks a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents. You will support the maintenance team in daily tasks and collaborate with housekeeping and operations to uphold our high standards.

The role requires reliability, good communication, and a proactive approach to safety and preventive maintenance. This position is on-site in Crystal Lake, IL, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility to be sanitary, attractive, and in good repair.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
