Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping our community safe, clean, and well maintained for residents and staff.

You will assist in maintaining safety, accessibility, and overall condition, while working within the community budget and schedule. Prior maintenance exposure and a caring attitude toward seniors are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant maintenance work experience preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to report and organize information.
• Able to maintain full-time attendance.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• As the Maintenance Assistant, you will assist the Maintenance Director in keeping the Community safe, attractive, and well maintained.
• You will help ensure operations stay within the Community maintenance budget.
