Crystal Pines Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The role involves performing maintenance duties to keep the facility sanitary, attractive, and in good repair, while supporting regulatory compliance and safety across building systems.

A high school diploma is preferred, and prior LTC maintenance experience is highly valued. The position is a 6-month temporary role with full-time hours during the program.

Job Details

PAINTERS: 6-month temporary role. Full-Time hours during duration of the program.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance with federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. You will aid in maintaining the facility to keep it sanitary, attractive, and orderly; in good repair and free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Qualifications

• Fire and passion for working with seniors
• Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior experience in maintenance in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Required prior maintenance experience
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
