Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for full-time work at Mission Chateau Senior Living Community in Prairie Village, KS. The role involves supporting the maintenance team to keep the building safe, clean, and well‑maintained for residents.

The ideal candidate brings a passion for working with seniors, strong communication, and prior maintenance experience. A high school diploma is preferred and prior LTC/SNF maintenance is valued.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
