Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping life safety code compliance and the physical plant in good order.

The role is part-time (2 days per week) with 8-hour day shifts, starting at $18.00 per hour. Training and facility-specific benefit plans are available; applicants must be a high school graduate and able to follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.
