Job summary

Saber-Healthcare-Group in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to support the Life Safety Code compliance, facilities upkeep, and equipment readiness across the community. You will follow policies and ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; shifts are days, 2 days per week; wage starts at $18.00 per hour. This role offers a friendly, team‑oriented workplace with opportunities for growth and access to education

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Shift & Wage:

• Part-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Days, 8-hour Shifts

• Wage: Starting at $18.00 per hour
