Meridian Senior Living in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director. You will help keep the community safe for residents and staff, ensure the property is well maintained, and help manage the maintenance budget.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of relevant experience, compassion for the elderly, good communication, and reliable attendance; valid driver's license and ability to pass health and background checks.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience (1+ years preferred).
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Strong reporting and organizational abilities.
• Reliable full-time attendance.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
• Valid driver's license.

Details about the Maintenance Assistant position we are hiring for:

As the Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible in assisting the Maintenance Director in ensuring that the Community is safe for residents and staff, attractive and well maintained, and operating within the Community maintenance budget.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Relevant work experience (1+ years preferred)
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Must have basic reporting and organizational skills
• Must be capable of maintaining fulltime attendance
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
• Must have valid driver license
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
