Join a company dedicated to developing Maintenance Technicians with no prior experience! This is a fantastic opportunity to participate in a 90-day paid apprenticeship where you are provided training and comprehensive knowledge of the work that goes into multi-family property maintenance. After completing the 90-day paid apprenticeship, you will be eligible for a permanent Maintenance Technician position, with a $1000 bonus upon successful completion.

If you’re ambitious, eager to learn the trades, and looking for a golden opportunity to get your foot in the door, this could be a fit for you! We’ve been in the industry since 1985 and are growing daily, with over 35 communities throughout Wisconsin and Illinois, and more in development.

There are opportunities to grow within the company: starting as a Tech I, with potential promotion to Tech II, Maintenance Supervisor, Regional Maintenance Manager, and even Director of Property Maintenance. We prioritize internal training and promotion.

Start Date for Program: Beginning of June 2025

What You'll Learn and Assist With:

1. Utilizing troubleshooting skills to respond to and repair various residential service requests.
2. Preparing apartments for rent by performing repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exteriors, and appliances.
3. Performing preventative maintenance to avoid costly breakdowns.
4. Facilitating communication between maintenance and property management.
5. Documenting time sheets, maintenance logs, and checklists accurately.
6. Assisting groundskeepers with landscaping and debris removal.
7. Using maintenance materials and equipment properly.
8. During winter, assisting with snow removal.
9. Maintaining professionalism and courtesy with residents, coworkers, and the public.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
