Job Duties

As the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, Jefferson Industries actively participates in the Global Automotive Industry. We offer design and development for press dies and tools to produce automotive products. Our focus includes product design review and Advanced Product Quality Planning, supporting high-quality manufacturing and flexible customer solutions.

We are seeking an Apprentice to join our Press Maintenance team on 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 pm - 06:30 am).

Job Duties May Include:

• Perform bi-weekly and monthly inspections on presses and scrap conveyors, reporting findings in PLEX inspection reports
• Support shutdown activities and verify stock of spare parts, including adding items not controlled by MRO
• Perform basic maintenance, including wiring or similar tasks
• Document all work in Plex, including details and duration
• Collaborate with Press Maintenance Technician to develop technical skills for future advancement
• Follow all safety policies and wear proper PPE
• Perform other duties as assigned
